Verify water pump condition and identify related worn or leaking parts (hoses, seals, fittings). Inspect radiator, coolant lines, and thermostat housing for proper function and leaks. B. Water Pump Replacement Drain coolant and safely capture fluids for proper disposal. Remove existing defective water pump assembly. Clean gasket surfaces and inspects mounting flange. Install new OEM or equivalent Cummins water pump with new gaskets and seals. Refill cooling system with manufacturer-recommended coolant mixture. Bleed system to remove air pockets and verify proper circulation. C. General Generator Maintenance Replace engine oil, oil filters, fuel filters, and air filters.
