Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project consists of the successful Bidder furnishing all qualified personnel, supervision, labor, installation services, materials, equipment, facilities, travel, overhead and incidentals necessary for office furniture for two (2) offices located in the same building for Harris County Public Health Services (HCPHS). The Office of Communication Education and Engagement (OCEE) suite 130 and the Refugee Program Office (RPO) suite 147 located at 7457 Harwin Drive, Houston TX 77036. The work to be performed by the vendor shall include but are not limited to design and layout services. All products shall be new, first-rate quality, used or refurbished furniture will not be accepted. Vendor shall provide products as specified or equivalent that will meet or exceed the specifications (NOTE: Equivalents shall have specifications included for review by Harris County). Vendor shall provide product warranty of all products, all freight shall be FOB destination and full installation services with packing and debris removal. This Bid includes delivery and installation of furniture, equipment, or supplies, therefore the term “Work”, “work” or “Project”, as used herein, shall mean the delivery and installation of such furniture equipment, or supplies in accordance with all terms and conditions of this IFB and the resulting Contract. Drop shipments will not be allowed or accepted. Bidder shall include the anticipated delivery dates for the items in the Requested Information. Awarded vendor shall be required to field measure all locations and provide laminate finished and fabric samples. Damaged goods will not be accepted. Vendor shall remove damaged goods and return with new item. The vendor shall be liable for any damages cause while on property and shall make full repairs and restoration to prior conditions and must be approved by Harris County. The vendor is responsible during the delivery and the staging area floor must be protected and secured. The vendor’s installers may be screened through building security. The vendor shall have staff with easily identifiable uniforms and nametags. The conduct of the installer crew shall be appropriate to the job site. Vendor’s installation crew shall only be allowed on staging area and installing area, no wandering. The vendor shall be responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement for any damage they cause to the building or to furniture items. The vendor shall remove all debris and leave site in good order.
