Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Work Scheduling and Reporting – Quality cleaning shall be required, including full performance of all specified daily services on the first official working day of the contract period. The HCP Resource Center will need animal kennel cleaning seven (7) days a week including holidays starting at 8:00AM. The custodial schedule must be approved by the designated Harris County representative. All cleaning personnel are prohibited from disturbing papers on desks, opening desk drawers or cabinets, or using telephone or office equipment provided for official County use. Instructions pertaining to conduct and other regulations, as required by Harris County, must be followed. The vendor is responsible for any loss or damage to property including, but not limited to, money, securities, merchandise, fixtures, and equipment belonging to Harris County, or to any other person or organization to which Harris County is legally liable for such loss or damage, if any such loss or damage was caused by vendor or any employee thereof, while such employee is on the premises of Harris County as an employee of vendor. All contract personnel are required to sign in/out upon arrival and departure of work site on the Service. Contract Employee Sign In & Out Sheet - This form and its location will be provided by the representative at the HCP Resource Center. The Service Contract Employee Sign In/Out Sheets shall be attached to vendor invoices. The vendor is required to: 1. Within thirty (30) days of award vendor shall: a) Meet with Harris County to review the total workload, schedule and cleaning methods required by Harris County. b) Submit in writing to Harris County, for approval, the names of at least two (2) representatives, one (1) of which must be authorized to act for the vendor in every detail concerning the requirements as described in this specification. c) Submit, in writing, to Harris County designated representative, for approval a plan of action for common emergencies (i.e., storms, floods, blackouts, bodily fluids, etc.). 2. During the contact period: a) Meet with the Harris County designated representative weekly (during the first year or until further notice) to discuss and review the vendor’s performance/concerns under all contract requirements. b) Furnish, at the request of the Harris County designated representative, the following information regarding each employee utilized in fulfilling the requirements of this bid: 1. Name 2. Work classification(s) 3. Hours worked each day 4. Harris County Building or Program Number where work was performed 3. Emergency Situations a) In the event of an emergency condition at the facility, e.g., flooding, the vendor shall assist as necessary to perform the cleanup. The vendor shall not be penalized for scheduled work not performed while performing emergency assistance.
