Specifications include, but are not limited to: The vendor shall furnish and deliver, as needed and as required, access points and related items for Harris County Universal Services (US). The access points and related items provides the signal and service for internet access for Harris County buildings. Access points and related items for US shall include, but is not limited to, indoor/outdoor access points, network switches, controllers, mounting kits, software licenses, maintenance and support. Access points must be from a manufacturer’s authorized dealer or directly from the manufacturer as shown on the BidTable(s). At a minimum, the vendor shall be a current platinum certified partner or equivalent level (ref.: Aruba Platinum Level Partner) for the manufacturer proposed. All hardware and software support listed must be direct support from the manufacturer (ref.: Aruba). All wireless equipment, licensing, and maintenance/support to include Access Points, Controllers, and Network Access Control (NAC) solutions shall be of Aruba Networks product to ensure interoperability with the current operating environment. All maintenance related support shall be provided directly from manufacturer and not of support by proxy due to the nature of the environment.
