Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Discuss/review existing network design and devices. Propose Layer 3 access solution. • Discuss/review existing network topology. Propose updated IP configuration for Layer 3 access. • Discuss/review network segmentation requirements. Consider need and/or benefits of VRF. • Discuss/review access control lists for each building or functional areas. • Discuss/review/propose final network design, technical details, and logistics to ensure a successful project. • Document and deliver networking schematics and configurations including: o IP / VLAN / VRF addressing and scheme o Spanning tree configuration o Layer 2 configuration needs o Routing topology and configurations for core and IDFs • Assist in project staging.
