Specifications include, but are not limited to: AISD is requesting a solution to provide Internet Access that terminates at the AISD Education Service Center, 7200 W Interstate 40, Amarillo Texas and Lorenzo DeZavala Middle School, 2801 N. Coulter, Amarillo, Texas. The connection would provide for dual path connectivity for Internet Access where both connections are available and passing data. In the event of failure, the alternate path would continue to provide Internet access. The aggregate bandwidth for both connections should be a minimum of 2Gbps (2 @ 1Gbps circuits) and provide tiered pricing and ability to increase bandwidth during the contract period. The response should include detailed pricing for 1Gbps increase increments per location, up to 10Gbs per location (Total 20Gbps). The proposed solution should define in sufficient detail for AISD to determine what network hardware, network protocols, and network routing requirements to merge the two separate Internet access paths into a combined production Internet.
