Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University invites you to submit a proposal to provide comprehensive travel support to a group of approximately 28 students and 2 faculty members participating on the summer 2013 International Business Residency-China Program. Respondents will need to coordinate accommodation, interpretation services, transportation, meals, business contacts and site visits of Chinese businesses in each city, general administrative and logistics management services. Dates for the summer 2013 International Business Residency-China Program are June 21 June 30, 2013. The purpose of this ITB is to secure services, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements herein for accommodation, transportation, meals, administrative and logistics management. Contractor must provide full-service international educational travel services including, but not limited to, the following: Accommodations - Hotel accommodations to include the following: 3 nights in 4 or 5 star hotel centrally located in Beijing, China for 28 students (double occupancy) and 2 faculty members (single occupancy). Check in on June 22, 2013 check out on June 25, 2013. Buffet breakfast should be included. - Hotel accommodations to include the following: 3 nights in 4 or 5 star hotel centrally located in Nanjing, China for 28 students (double occupancy) and 2 faculty members (single occupancy). Check in on June 25, 2013 check out on June 27, 2013. Buffet breakfast should be included. - Hotel accommodations to include the following: 1 nights in 4 or 5 star hotel centrally located in YiWu, China for 28 students (double occupancy) and 2 faculty members (single occupancy). Check in on June 27, 2013 check out on June 28, 2013. Buffet breakfast should be included. - Hotel accommodations to include the following: 2 nights in 4 or 5 star hotel centrally located in Shanghai, China for 28 students (double occupancy) and 2 faculty members (single occupancy). Check in on June 28, 2013 check out on June 30, 2013. Buffet breakfast should be included. - Approximately eight group meals (lunch/dinner) provided during trip. Transportation - Airfare Houston Beijing, China (Depart Houston on June 21st) for 28 students and 2 faculty members - Airfare Beijing Nanjing, China YiWu, China Shanghai, China - Houston (Depart Beijing on June 25th Depart Nanjing on June 27th Depart YiWu on June 28th Depart Shanghai on June 30th) for 28 students and 2 faculty members - Chartered ground transportation for all cities traveled visits in and around each city to domestic and multinational businesses, other economic and cultural institutions. Administrative and logistics Management for Site Visits - Approximately five business site visits. The site visits should include a tour of the facilities, a brief presentation by a business representative and time for question and answers. All discussions should be in English, unless an interpreter is provided. - Approximately four cultural outings along with appropriate passes to be provided during trip. - Experienced English speaking tour guide/ translator to accompany students at all times during trip.
