ICD 705 specifies requirements for intrusion detection systems and only list two possible brands, Advantor or Vindicator. However, JBSA Lackland requires the use of Vindicator for its security installations. Any supplier will have to use Vindicator brand products in order for the facility to be accredited under ICD 705.
Hardware must be Honeywell Vindicator V5 PCU and must integrate with Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC). Reference cost reference attached for specific parts required IAW ICD705 requirements. Manufacturer’s expressed warranty only for defects and parts replacements. No Discounts. Parts required for order and Installation we be executed by the company selected. No subcontracting through 3rd parties. Delivery, Installation, Product Integration and connectivity testing on site IAW phased burn-in of Intrusion Detection System prior to full government acceptance. Coordinate with Installer, 149FW/APO (Security SMEs), and the 502nd Security Forces members.
