The University of North Texas System (UNTS) intends to establish Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreements with one or more qualified firms to provide Structural Engineering Services in support of ongoing and future facilities initiatives. These professional services may be required for individual projects at any of UNTS’s component institutions, including but not limited to the University of North Texas in Denton, the UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth, UNT Dallas, and UNT at Frisco. The scope of professional services may require, but are not limited to: The Structural Engineering Services performed under this Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract shall support the University of North Texas System (UNTS) and its component institutions in the delivery of capital improvement, repair, renovation, and maintenance projects. The scope of services includes, but is not limited to, the following professional services, which may be provided on a full-project or task-specific basis, depending on the needs defined in each individual service order: • Structural engineering design and documentation for new construction, building renovations, additions, adaptive reuse, and structural retrofits; • Limited-scope structural analysis and reporting for existing facilities, systems, and elements; • Laser scanning, 3D point cloud generation, and modeling to support existing conditions assessments; • Load capacity analysis for existing building systems or for integration of new programmatic needs; • Technical studies and feasibility analyses to support project planning, design development, or code compliance; • Site-specific structural surveys and foundation evaluations; • Construction-phase support including structural inspections, submittal reviews, and response to contractor inquiries; • Warranty-phase technical support, punch list resolution, and evaluation of structural concerns or claims.
