The City of Galveston is requesting qualifications for professional surveying services to complete the deliverables for a variety of projects. The selected firms must demonstrate that they are qualified, capable, and competent to provide the following services: a. Preparation of surveying and environmental deliverables in support of design. b. Preparation of completed detailed construction plans and specifications for a given project. c. Cognizant of and application of design criteria accepted by the City of Galveston. d. Ability to provide these services within the timeframe indicated. e. Ability to provide these services within the budget established during negotiation of the scope of work. f. At any time during the effective period of this SOQ, whether before or after selection, changes to the key personnel shall be made in writing to the City of Galveston, City Engineer. Failure to notify the City and receive confirmation of such change may render the firm ineligible. g. All responding firms will be evaluated for the ability to provide one or more of the following services and may be pre-qualified by the City in one or more areas of expertise as noted below: 1. Boundary Surveys. 2. Topographic Surveys. 3. Construction Staking. 4. Easements and their acquisition. 5. Legal Descriptions. 6. Establishment of Survey Control. 7. Plats
