A. The Housing Rehabilitation Specialist will be available to work during normal business hours, MondayFriday from 8:00am-5:00pm, on an as-needed basis, to assist the Grants & Financial Analyst with the following responsibilities related to the Town of Flower Mound’s Housing Rehabilitation Program 1. Financial management 2. Line-item cost estimates 3. Recordkeeping requirements 4. Environmental clearance procedures 5. Lead based paint procedures 6. Monitoring rehabilitation work 7. Equal employment opportunity/Section 504 requirements 8. Contract close-out 9. Any other duties related to the program B. The Housing Rehabilitation Specialist should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: 1. Knowledge of basic engineering and architectural design principles, practices, procedures, and estimating techniques. 2. Knowledge of project accounting, architectural and construction methods and the principles, methods and practices of project management. 3. Knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, and codes associated with project management.
