1. Mobilization 2. Cleaning and restoring of existing roadside ditches consisting of excavation and shaping as shown in the plan set and following the cross-sectional detail for all ditches specified in the plan set. This includes all depths, maintaining shown flow direction, surface restoration, seeding, and all appurtenances, all in in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. 3. Remove and replace approximately 2,184 LF of various pipe sizes as called out in the plan set, including all excavation and backfill required. Remove and replace sections of driveways and sidewalk as necessary as called out in the plans. 4. The flow direction shown on the plans was established by comparing the culvert grades along each side of the roadway. These flows can be achieved by the Contractor mopping out the ditches from culvert to culvert, matching the flowline of the culverts at each end of the individual ditch segments, and the culverts to be reset should be set on a grade established by projecting the flowlines of the upstream and downstream culverts remaining in place on either side.
