Scope of Work: HPS will replace HVAC units in different capacities currently deemed to be at the end of their life units. The bidding contractor will need to verify the unit sizing, voltage of units, electrical and tonnage prior to installation of the units, pertinent permits needed, and any required lifting equipment as described below. All units are tentatively to be installed by July 31st 2025. By following this comprehensive scope of work, you can ensure a smooth and successful replacement of end-of-life rooftop units while minimizing risks and optimizing system performance. 1. Assessment: ● Conduct a thorough assessment of the existing rooftop units (RTUs) to determine their condition and confirm end-of-life status. ● Verify tonnage specifications for the replacement RTUs based on the building's cooling/heating requirements. 2. Curb Adapters: ● Inspect and measure existing curb adapters to ensure compatibility with the new RTUs. ● If needed, design or procure new curb adapters to match the dimensions of the replacement units. 3. Tonnage Verification: ● Cross-check the tonnage requirements for the building with the selected replacement RTUs to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. 4. Electrical Requirements: ● Evaluate the electrical systems to verify compatibility with the new RTUs. ● Confirm voltage, phase, and current requirements of the replacement units and ensure that the electrical infrastructure meets these specifications.
