This project includes the complete removal of existing commercial carpet and cove base moldings on the fifth floor, followed by the installation of new 8” x 48" x 6 mil thickness weatherproof interlocking vinyl planks. New 3 1/4" PVC base molding will be installed in all areas requiring replacement paint and seal included. Areas and Approximate Dimensions: Northbound Hallway: 5 ft x 54 ft (270 sq. ft); Southbound Hallway (Main): 5 ft x 154 ft (770 sq. ft); Elevator Hall Area: 85 sq. ft; Additional Southbound Area: 208 sq. ft; Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare all subfloor surfaces to receive new vinyl floor. Patch, level, and repair subfloor areas as needed to ensure proper adhesion of new Vinyl floor. Add any underlayment need by manufacture recommendation. Cleanup: Remove and dispose of all debris and old materials off-site. Leave all areas clean and ready for occupancy. Total Coverage Area: 1,333 sq. ft; Materials and Labor: All materials and labor required for removal and installation are included in this package. General Notes: All materials and workmanship shall comply with local building codes and manufacturer specifications. Work will be coordinated with property management to minimize disruption to tenants. Contractor is responsible for verifying all measurements and quantities prior to ordering materials. Contractor fully responsible to remove any obstacle that impede properly flooring installation. Any damage to surrounding areas (walls, doors, trim, etc.) during demolition or installation must be repaired by the contractor at no additional cost.
