Grease Trap Removal Waste removal of grease traps is to be scheduled twice a year, once during the summer and once during the District’s Winter break (typically June and December), for each year of the contract. Work is to be scheduled with the Service Response Center, Facility Services Department, at 469/948-7820. Hydrojetting of the drain lines and tanks is to be completed once per year during the summer for each year of the contract. Include this service in price. The drain lines range in length from 5 feet to 40 feet, with the average length being 20 feet. Minimum equipment and labor requirements for waste removal are: o A vacuum truck with a high-pressure (1500 PSI) water jet machine. o Labor to remove and dispose of waste from grease and sand traps, including scraping walls and hydrojetting drain lines. o Hose length of 100 feet.
