The Consultant will provide expert assistance to the City in a myriad of specialized and comprehensive engineering services including but not limited to the following: 1. Assistance with preparing the grant agreement including a five-year plan for the City’s recently received SS4A grant. 2. Grant funding research to identify grant resources including, but not limited to, federal, state, foundation, agencies and organizations that support the City’s funding needs and priorities in the following general areas, by way of illustration not of limitation: • Community/Economic Development, • Criminal Justice Technology and Programs, • Public Works, • Infrastructure Development and Maintenance, • Parks and Recreation, • Transportation/Highway/Sustainability/Transit, • GIS Geographic Information System, and • Community and Municipal Planning; 3. Assistance in preparing and submitting applications for funding opportunities identified in #2 above. 4. Assistance in preparing grant agreements. 5. Assistance in grant administration including preparation of required reporting. 6. Assistance in meeting any other requirements related to funding provided to the city through the processes outlined above.
