Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Texas, by and through the Texas Historical Commission (THC) seeks sealed proposals to establish a contract for providing graphic design and Spanish translation services for the production of a travel guide for the public featuring cultural heritage sites and themes related to Hispanic/Tejano history in Texas in accordance with the specifications contained in this Request for Proposal (RFP). THC will make its award, depending on what best serves the needs of the project. Through its Texas Heritage Trails Program (THTP) the THC develops educational and promotional initiatives that encourage travel to the states communities, historical / cultural sites and events. As a new travel tool, the new guide (referred to in this document as HH Guide) will be distributed statewide to achieve the goals of improving the heritage traveler visitor experience with contextual historic information, promoting travel, and educating the public. THC expects to release the printed guide February 2015.
