The Control Enclosure shall consist of a coordinated grouping of electrical distribution equipment all contained within an all-weather enclosure. The Control Enclosure shall be delivered to the customer's site as a pre-engineered, factory assembled and tested unit. The Control Enclosure shall be shipped complete, without missing components or "ship shorts". The Control Enclosure shall be a factory fabricated metal enclosure with environmental control and shall be specifically designed to house selected Control/Monitoring equipment. The completed Control Enclosure shall be suitable for shipment to the customer's FOB point. The FOB point shall be defined as installed on the Customer’s foundations within the Customer’s station. All field assembly required shall be performed by the Contractor. The Contractor shall coordinate all necessary alignment and interconnection between component sections. The entire assembly shall be electrically and mechanically assembled into one single lineup prior to final inspection and shipment. A Station Layout Drawing shall be included with the Bid Documents showing logistical details of the station. Construction of the Control Enclosure shall be performed in the highest manner of workmanship using only new and unused, top quality materials. The Control Enclosure shall be guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of date of delivery and acceptance by the Owner.
