Specifications include, but are not limited to: El Paso County is seeking best value bids from qualified, experienced contractors to furnish fugitive dust control and stabilization product(s), treatment and application, on an "as needed" basis. The County is also seeking pricing on de-icing chemicals, that the County’s Public Services Department, Transportation Division will apply to the county’s roads. The chemicals/products are Calcium Chloride and/or Magnesium Chloride, at a thirty percent (30%) concentration for both chemical products. The Magnesium Chloride is to be provided and applied, however, the Calcium Chloride is to be provided for the County to apply with County crews. Bidders may bid on providing and applying the magnesium chloride, on providing the calcium chloride product, or both.
