Provide fuel delivery services. Currently, the City is in the process of having a dedicated fuel station installed on site. The tank will be a split compartment above ground tank, storing 1,000 gallons of gasoline and 500 gallons of diesel. The City will purchase a separate fuel management system to monitor fuel usage. By establishing this capability, the City hopes to improve emergency preparedness and operational resiliency by ensuring city vehicles, including emergency vehicles, can continue to operate in the event of extended power outage, winter storm or other disaster which may limit access to commercial locations. The City’s average fuel usage (gasoline and diesel) is approximately 24,000 gallons annually.
