Specifications include, but are not limited to: HCJPD requires that the vendor provide standard meals and menus. Vendor must submit with proposal, regular menus detailing at a minimum a forty-five (45) day non-repetitive meal plan to include specific portion sizes (indicating cooked or raw weight when appropriate), caloric content and seasonal variations due to holidays such as, but not limited to, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Rosh Hashanah. The meals shall have an average caloric content of two thousand eight hundred (2,800) calories per day and minimum average of seventy-five (75) grams of protein per day. In addition to the regular forty-five (45) day cycle meal plan, the vendor shall include a special menu of proposed meals for youth on special, modified, medical and/or religious diets i.e. diabetic, pregnancy, vegetarian, religious etc. Special diets shall include a variety of non-repetitive meals and snack menu options
