1. Demolition & Removal: Remove all existing carpet from designated apartment units #506, 509, 511, 513, 514, 516. Remove existing cove base molding throughout all areas as necessary. Remove existing VCT tile flooring where present. 2. Furniture Handling: Contractor will be responsible for moving all furniture as needed for proper VCT flooring installation. Furniture will be returned to its original position after installation is complete. 3. Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare all subfloor surfaces to receive new tile. Patch, level, and repair subfloor areas as needed to ensure proper adhesion of new VCT. 4. Installation of New Flooring: Supply and install 12"x12" VCT tile in all areas where carpet and/or old VCT tile was removed. Ensure tiles are aligned properly, securely adhered, and finished cleanly. 5. Base Molding Installation: Supply and install 3-1/4" PVC base molding in all areas where old cove base was removed. Ensure tight joints and a professional finish.
