TABC is seeking to procure Firearm / Immersive Technology training simulators to provide TABC agents and auditors with equipment to conduct interactive scenarios. The successful respondent shall provide complete Firearm / Immersive training simulator Systems that include required hardware, software, applications/programs, central processing units, audio/video systems, accessories and devices needed for proper operation and function. TABC intends to award a contract for up to five (5) Firearm / Immersive Technology training simulators with associated parts. Firearm / Use of Force Training Simulator 2.1.1 The System should provide a realistic training environment in high definition. 2.1.2 The System should support low-light, no-light, static target, and moving target scenarios. 2.1.3 The System should have multiple scenarios with capability to change within a scenario so that agents cannot know or anticipate when seeing repetitious scenarios and adjust to officer’s actions to allow for de-escalation of the situation. 2.1.4 The visual presentation of the targets should accurately represent the appearance of an actual target at the simulated distance. 2.1.5 The System should allow the instructor to create customized qualification courses where the student engages through verbal command and resolves the incident. 2.1.6 The System needs to be ballistically accurate based on the type of weapon and round being fired. 2.1.7 Quantity to be purchased is up to five (5) stand alone, portable units with projectors. 2.1.8 A user manual must be included with each System. Online copies are acceptable if there is no cost involved. Software/Courseware 2.1.9 Software must be capable of customizing future enforcement and auditor training.
