Specifications include, but are not limited to: Prepare multi-year income statement and cash flow projection models for UTSW participation in a start-up, for-profit medical school in Delhi, India ("Medical School"). Develop a work plan and keyaccounting assumptions based upon historical experience of UT Southwestern, industry data, and marketopportunities in India. In terms of structure, UTSW will provide academic medical school expertise,development of curriculum, contractual assistance with staffing of faculty teachers, etc., while the localIndian investors will provide funding and be the equity owners. UTSW is anticipated to offer sometraining from Dallas, either through on-line lectures on streaming video materials. The Medial Schoolwill be affiliated with a local hospital as well as a local university, using space in the hospital orelsewhere. The size of the Medical School has not yet been determined, but may range from a total of300 students to 1,200 students, so scenario analysis will be necessary. Financial assumptions shouldinclude local Indian demand for medical school education, tuition revenue, labor and other costs, impactof demographic trends, as well as UTSW cost-reimbursement and percentage of revenue-sharingarrangements. A representative for this project will meet with the RFP finalists in India in mid to lateApril of 2011
