Specifications include, but are not limited to: Texas is currently involved in the Improvement Planning phase, referred to as the Texas Continuous Improvement Process (TCIP). This process includes ongoing self-assessment including data review, identification of current status, and subsequent improvement planning. The methodology used for Improvement Planning is standardized among various groups and is overseen by the Texas Steering Committee who reviews the plan to ensure it is on course with the improvement process. In the 2013- 2014 school year, the Texas Steering Committee will meet to review data and improvement plan implementation. The Improvement Planning committees in the Continuous Improvement framework will meet to review data and revise plans. The Facilitator will conduct the fall 2013 and spring 2014 Texas Steering Committee meetings as well as the Improvement Planning meetings held throughout the aforementioned school year. The Texas Steering Committee and Improvement Planning meetings are led by the TCIP Facilitator with responsibilities and deliverables to include: Facilitate meetings, which may include individual, small, and large group work Communicate with committee members Work with TEA staff to provide guidance in planning and preparing materials for meetings Provide agenda, notes, materials, and reflection notes regarding Improvement Planning meetings Debrief with TEA staff after the meetings
