Dallas Water Utilities (DWU) will select engineering firms to provide engineering services to support the City of Dallas floodplain management program. The scope of engineering services for the FY25-FY30 Floodplain Program Management Assistance Contracts include engineering review of hydrologic and hydraulic models and engineering plans for proposed developments within the floodplain, performing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and field surveying to evaluate floodplain or drainage impacts related to development or capital improvements within the City of Dallas, revising effective flood maps through the Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) process, improving flood hazard data and maps to reduce and identify flood risk through the Cooperating Technical Partners program, identifying and developing capital flood and drainage relief projects scopes, supporting the annual recertification and cycle visits for the Community Rating System (CRS) program, advancing the City of Dallas’ class rating in the CRS program, and performing necessary services to accredit the City of Dallas levee systems
