The Contractor shall perform services that may include but not limited to: a) Diagnostic Assessment 1. Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and performance-related issues. 2. Utilize modern diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems accurately. b) Mechanical Repairs 1. Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs. 2. Address engine-related problems, including belt replacements, spark plug changes, and valve adjustments. 3. Address transmission issues and perform transmission fluid changes. c) Electrical Repairs 1. Diagnose and repair electrical system malfunctions, including lighting, battery, and charging problems. 2. Troubleshoot and repair issues with the vehicle’s onboard computer and sensors. 3. Repair or replace faulty wiring and electrical components. d) Cooling and Air Conditioning 1. Inspect and service the vehicle’s cooling system, including the radiator, water pump, and thermostat. 2. Perform air condition system diagnostics and repairs, including refrigerant recharging. e) Exhaust System 1. Inspect and repair the exhaust system, including mufflers, catalytic converters, and exhaust pipes. f) Tire and Wheel Services 1. Provide as-needed tire rotations, balancing, and wheel alignments. g) Brake System 1. Inspect and repair brake system, including pads, rotors, calipers, and brake lines. h) Suspension and Steering 1. Inspect and repair the suspension system, including shocks, struts, and control arms. 2. Address steering issues and perform wheel alignments. i) State Inspection 1. Contractor to be able to perform State Vehicle Inspections j) Towing 1. As-needed towing from facility to Contractor’s location. Prior to performing services, the Contractor shall provide an estimated pricing of recommended services to the Abilene designee to review and approve.
