The required services to be provided are requires maintenance of the weight scales to include inspections, calibrations, and as needed repairs. Scales may be added or removed per Agency discretion. All services shall be performed at the Contractor’s facility. Contractor shall provide comprehensive preventive maintenance, performance testing, calibrating, and inspecting all scales located at facility quarterly. Contractor shall perform preventive maintenance such as cleaning vital operating parts, which can affect the accuracy of the scale. Contractor shall perform checks which will consist of functional operation of equipment for deficiencies that would cause it to be inoperable or result in a failure. Functional tests to be performed at the facility. Equipment will have a sticker placed on it with date performed/safety inspection. Contractor shall certify the services were performed in compliance with the specifications, describe the condition of each unit and confirm the current operating condition is performing to the satisfaction of DSHS and furnish a report of the condition of the scales after each inspection performed.
