Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected firm will provide assistance for activities such as, but not limited to: - Coordination with TWDB staff in reviewing FEMA/NFIP information to prioritize the community contact list for FMA and SRL grant assistance - Coordinate with and assistance to communities, as directed by TWDB staff in preparation of applications for FMA and SRL grants - Coordination with and assistance to communities in evaluating potential projects for possible inclusion as sub-grant application under the FMA and SRL program - Providing technical assistance to communities with benefit/cost analyses as part of viable sub-grant applications - Supporting TWDB staff as directed with other eligible technical assistance activities under the FMA and SRL programs - Provide technical assistance and coordination with the TWDB staff in reviewing and updating the Repetitive Loss Strategy of the State of Texas Hazard Mitigation Plan - Provide technical assistance to update the RL and SRL Analysis Tool with FEMA most rescnt RL/SRL and GSTF spreadsheet for Texas using the BCA limited data module software and add features to Analysis Tool as needed - Coordinate with the TWDB to conduct technical analysis of updated RL/SRL and GSTF data from FEMA in order to better improve communication with communities and preparation of grant applications and - Providing technical assistance in applying for and assigning the Increase Cost of Compliance (ICC) to communities/subapplicant when ICC funds are being applied as the local match to either SRL aorFMA grant application. Also provide technical assistance in the development of a community outreach packet regarding the ICC process.
