Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Contractor will provide all Labor, Materials, Equipment, and other things needed to perform Fire Extinguisher & Ansul/Guardian Systems Inspection & Maintenance Services in Unit Pricing. 2. Contractor shall comply with all current laws, NFPA, Local ordinances, rules, and regulations pertaining to Public Schools. All necessary permits and licenses shall be obtained and paid for by the contractor. 3. Successful bidder shall furnish evidence of any required bond and/or license prior to award of contract. 4. Contractor shall be required to provide proof of liability insurance within thirty (30) days of notification of award of contract. 5. All fire extinguishers shall be inspected and tagged or serviced annually during the months of June and July. The contractor will be responsible for the removal and return of the individual fire extinguishers. 6. All Ansul/Guardian Systems shall be inspected and serviced semi-annually as per required regulations during the School Districts Summer (June) and Winter (December) Breaks. 7. Contractor is responsible to arrange repairs and or inspections to meet or exceed regulated or mandated frequency as so stated in Federal or State of Texas Codes with reference to Fire Extinguisher & Ansul/Guardian Systems. 8. Contractor is responsible to provide the School Districts Compliance Coordinator with required documentation of inspection and or repair reports within thirty (30) days of inspection or repair. And to post any required tags, logs, etc. in the specific areas or on the Fire System at each facility. 9. Successful bidder shall be required to provide owner with a list of contractor's employees that will be performing this work. The employee list shall include full name and social security number. 10. The contractor shall maintain adequate protection of all his work from damage and shall protect the Owner's property from injury or loss arising from this agreement. The Contractor shall provide and maintain at all times any OSHA required danger signs, guards, and/or obstructions necessary to protect the public and his workmen from any dangers inherent with or created by the work in progress.
