A. The ferric chloride shall be of a quality suitable for chemical conditioning of municipal wastewater sludge for preparation of mechanical dewatering, incineration or landfill. B. Suspended Matter: • The ferric chloride shall be free of suspended matter capable of forming sludge, scale, or plugging feed equipment. C. Percent Solution: • The ferric chloride solution delivered shall not be less than 28% or greater than 47%. D. Impurities: • The ferric chloride shall contain no substances in quantities capable of producing, directly or indirectly, deleterious or injurious effects upon the effluent quality of the AUTHORITY’s wastewater treatment facility. Consignor shall bear all cost related to rejection, such as cost incurred in removing the rejected material or cost related to damages caused by the material to feed equipment or both.
