The Education Service Center Region 2 (ESC2) is soliciting proposals from qualified certified public accounting firms (hereinafter “Firm”) to perform our annual audit, issue opinions on the related financial statements and provide other auditing services as described within this Request for Qualifications for fiscal years ending September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025, with the ESC2 retaining the exclusive option to extend the agreement resulting from this solicitation for four additional one-year periods. The external audit will include evaluating the appropriateness of accounting policies used and the reasonableness of significant accounting estimates made by management, as well as evaluating the overall presentation of the financial statements. The external audit will also include tests of ESC2 compliance with certain provisions of laws, regulations, contracts, and grant management.
