Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Maintain respect for Harris County employees, contractors, visitors, community members, and conduct themselves with a high level of professionalism.; 2. Escorting the Protectee in public settings; 3. Shall not abandon their Protectee nor depart their assigned duty area(s) until they have been properly relieved.; 4. Shall be alert of surrounding areas at all times, identifying suspicious behavior or unauthorized people; 5. Provide executive protection services in line with industry standards and best practices.; 6. Develop or provide emergency action plans and standard operating procedures to Harris County Law Enforcement and make any necessary modifications, as agreed upon by both parties.; 7. Conduct risk and threat analysis, in conjunction with Harris County Law Enforcement for Protectee; 8. Avoid using force except when necessary to protect Protectee, persons, and property.; 9. Provide close protection for identified Harris County personnel, to include travel inside and outside the United States.; 10. Provide safe and secure services, including vehicle transportation, for Protectee for all movements.; 11. Maintain vendor provided vehicles to the highest standards and provide Protectee defined needs inside the vehicle.
