Specifications include, but are not limited to: 5.5.1 Assess and develop security for the protection of University staff, SABCS attendees and event property located at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. 5.5.2 Assess and develop contract security for off-duty police services. 5.5.3 Coordinate with University staff to develop access control procedures for symposium space to include re-keying of SABCS Staff Operations Rooms and other rooms as determined. 5.5.4 Coordinate with convention center management, SAPD and SABCS suppliers to manage security risks. 5.5.5 Develop and provide custom written security recommendations and advise SABCS staff about basic safety and health procedures. 5.5.6 Monitor local, national and international events, including weather that may affect the event. 5.5.7 Provide a security incident response plan in coordination with University’s event management team.
