Serve as main stage production agent and provide stage management services for all acts performing on the main stage. Oversee all main stage entertainment contracts and negotiate those contracts on behalf of the City with input from the City. Oversee planning and coordination of equipment needs, and secure all purchase/rental items, delivery, and timing of them. The city will compile a list of equipment needed for the event to be supplied by the City and will share that list with contractor. Provide pricing and costs to City staff for all festival items such as vendors, generators, sound, stage, lights, staffing, etc. Oversee and manage a portion of the annual production budget for the event, including budget preparation and providing all estimated pricing of items prior to purchase or lease. The amount of the production budget will not be known until the full budget is approved for each annual event. Over the past five (5) years the full event budget has ranged between $400,000 and $500,000 Provide the City with copies of any contracts signed in relation to operations of the Main Street Fest festival, including agreements with main stage performers, third-party attraction contractors, or vendors. This includes securing all certificates of insurance where applicable and ensuring the City of Grand Prairie, its officers, officials, employees, and volunteers are listed as additionally insured on all applicable COIs. Develop the overall site plan for the festival taking any or all input from the city whenever possible or applicable. Coordinate with approved artisan vendors on load in, set up, and take down.
