Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) The District is accepting proposals for a project management consultant service to work collaboratively with the District to develop a project scope and an implementation plan. The consultant will be expected to prioritize the activities and provide a fully defined, sequential plan that will guide the District in selecting and implementing a new ERP system. This would include supporting services and other related services. 2) The consultant will review the current financial/human resource system(s) and business practices to provide technical guidance and proven methodology to define system requirements. 3) Lead the District through the ERP software selection process including coordinating software demonstrations and onsite visits. Assist with the identification of potential risks and issues to ensure the District makes a quality selection decision, which achieves the District’s ERP requirements. 4) Participate in contract negotiations with selected vendor to ensure a performan ce- based contract, where milestones are paid when accomplished. 5) Guide the District through the implementation of the selected software and assist with the identification and assessment of process changes necessary for a successful E RP software roll-out.
