Specifications include, but are not limited to: a.Contractor must provide Emergency Room professional services that include, but are notlimited to:1.An Emergency Room Physician that is immediately available and capable of respondingto emergency calls by phone or radio contact 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days peryear.2.Emergency Room Physician must be onsite at the Contractor hospital within thirty (30)minutes of emergency call to provide emergency medical assessment, treatment anddisposition to TCID patients with an emergency medical condition.3.On-duty Emergency Room physician(s) shall provide appropriate medical screeningexaminations to any TCID patients presented to the Contractor’s Emergency Room fortriage.4.If appropriate, Emergency Room Physician shall provide treatment for said patient(s).i.If, after appropriate assessment and examination, the physician determines in his/hersound medical judgement that the patient’s emergency medical condition, if any, issufficiently stabilized and the patient no longer requires emergency medical care, thephysician maya)discharge the patient and/orb)refer said patient to their regular physician for treatment.
