Specifications include, but are not limited to: TISD is seeking to contract with the most highly qualified vendors to provide services in the areas of professional development, consulting, coaching, and facilitation services. The services will not have direct contact with students but will have direct contact with campus administrators, teachers, and other District staff. These services may include, but are not limited to: visual/fine arts integration and coaching, balanced literacy, teacher improvement planning, training in core and elective content, student engagement, software training, behavior modification and support, instructional support, keynote speaker, poverty training, guided reading review, working memory implementation, professional development for behavioral classroom management for risk/poverty students; behavior intervention curriculum; bilingual, sheltered instruction, and coaching; curriculum development and review, core academic content training (reading, mathematics, science, and social studies); foreign language PD engagement and culture in the LOTE classroom; classroom culture PD training for continued implementation in the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People at Leader In Me schools and district departments; implementation training on software programs for instruction and productivity, physical education PD strategies to make physical education exciting and meaningful; ELAR, elementary and secondary writing training, 504, RTI, autism and dyslexia PD; Special Ed evaluations, IEP development, and IEP implementation, Trauma/Behavior, PLAAFP and goal development.
