Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Texas at Austin (University) is soliciting proposals in response to this Request for Proposal RFP No.721-1322 ERP Software (this RFP), from qualified vendors for the acquisition of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and associated hosting services (the Services) for development and production environments under either a PaaS or SaaS model. The Services are more specifically described in Section5 of this RFP. The project goals and objectives of the University are to: - take advantage of technical advancements that would enable significant improvements in business and administrative practices and efficiencies - mitigate the risks of relying on an aging technology toolset, both now and in the future (currently ADABAS and NATURAL) - provide efficient and effective integration between the ERP and other systems used by the campus community - improve the ability to interface with vendor product offerings and - implement up-to-date IT standards and best practices.
