A partial list of tasks is indicated below: 1. Survey area. 2. Provide map file, topographic (planimetric) base file and aerial photography. 3. Provide preliminary cost estimate and basic project information as requested by TxDOT (KMZ file of project limits, typical sections, SED form, etc.) 4. Develop preliminary concept plans and rough cost estimates. Meet with Public Works staff regarding these documents. This may also include multiple meetings with the professional staff of other departments and/or TxDOT. 5. Address the issues identified by the Public Works staff and/or TxDOT and other city departments. 6. Prepare the Environmental Assessment or Environmental Impact Statements and Mitigation requirements, and provide any public meetings or hearings as determined by TxDOT’s Environmental Compliance Phase. 7. Provide the appropriate Right-of-Way and/or Easement parcel documentation as necessary. Land acquisition will follow will be in accordance with TxDOT’s process and must follow state and federal laws and statutes. 8. Perform final design calculations, develop final plans, specifications and cost estimates. 9. Meet with City and allow City to review. 10. Incorporate any changes into the final design that the City and/or TxDOT require from their reviews. 11. Provide the information required of TxDOT as part of their bid-letting process. 12. Attend at least two (2) meetings with residents to discuss design issues and prepare them for anticipated construction activities. 13. Aid the City with Contract Administration Services. 14. Attend the Project’s Final Inspection/Walk-Thru. 15. Prepare all documentation necessary to TxDOT for the development of As-Built documents. 16. Obtain City and TxDOT approval of As-Built documentation.
