1. Contractor shall demolish and remove three feet of the existing concrete slab and the north wall of the existing drying bed, located at the South Wastewater Treatment Plant. 2. The existing side walls shall be remain in place. 3. Contractor shall saw cut existing concrete slab and also removed existing rebar, in order to place a new rebar mat and pour new 4000 psi concrete. 4. Contractor shall place ¾ inch thick steel plate with shear studs at the bottom of the north retaining wall, the steel plates will be embedded and place them flush with concrete slab and north wall. Also, between the steel plates shall be welded one each other. 5. The concrete to pour shall be a 4000 psi at 28 days. 6. Contractor shall be responsible to provide all necessary material, equipment and labor to complete this project. 7. Contractor shall advise the inspector when is ready for rebar inspection before pouring concrete. 8. Contractor may use concrete brick or plastic chair for rebar support. 9. Contractor is responsible for all debris, trash and leftover material and shall be disposed properly. 10. Contractor is responsible to field verify dimensions of the concrete slab and retaining back wall. 11. Contractor is responsible for protecting existing facilities from damage and cost to repair existing facilities and improvements as a result of the contractor work.
