Dyess AFB located in Abilene, Texas, is seeking potential sources capable of providing he installation of a Honeywell (Vindicator) alarm system in various buildings located on Dyess AFB, TX in accordance with this statement of work, any attached appendices, manufacturer standards, applicable US laws, commercial standards, and business practices. The contract will be a fixed-priced Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract and will require installation of intrusion detection systems in multiple buildings and rooms as individual projects to be issued as task orders against the basic contract delivery order, as such a prospective contractor should ensure they’re capable of providing this requirement multiple times over five (5) years. Three vendors will be selected to receive those task orders. The scope of work requires activities to include site survey, logistics, parts purchasing, programming, installation, and test. This project requires the installation of software and hardware for multiple components and peripherals to ensure entire ESS system meets minimum standards. A Honeywell certified technician must be present during installation and testing prior to government acceptance.
