The purpose of this amendment is to:
1. Extend the due date for questions to 29 June 2022.
2. Extend the due date for proposals 7 July 2022 NLT 5:00 PM Central.
All questions and concerns must be submitted to the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer by 29 June 2022 at 0900 CST.

The intent is to award a firm fixed price contract to a small business vendor for the purchase and installation of 1200 replacement locking mechanisms (electronic strikes and card readers) with fob access to dorm rooms in Building 3312 and Building 3314 located at Joint Base San Antonio - Fort Sam Houston. The new electronic strikes and smart card readers shall be hard wired to a power supply with a minimum 4-hour battery backup. The contractor shall provide electronic access control that is integrated into the existing Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE) Electronic Security System (ESS) managed by the MEDCoE G2.
Installation requires the company be an authorized Open Options vendor in order to be integrated with the existing MEDCoE ESS. The hardware must have the Open Options software installed and the software must be installed by Open Options vendors who will integrate new hardware into the existing ESS. The contractor shall be licensed or certified by the equipment manufacturer/dealer/distributor to perform installation of the door locking system. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, labor and transportation necessary to fulfill the requirement in accordance with the Statement of Work.
