Required fire protection engineering services may include, but are not limited to, one or more of the following: 1. Program evaluation, building code analysis and assessment, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Life Safety Code analysis and assessment, and/or any other appropriate regulation; 2. Studies, reports, preliminary construction cost estimates, performance measurements, project analysis, project feasibility studies, recommendations, and compliance; 3. Recommendation of fire protection system options complying with ACC Design Guidelines and Construction Standards for additions, remodeling, major maintenance, or new construction, including project cost analysis and life-cycle cost analysis; 4. Preparation of reports, including schematic plans, and photographic documentation, detailing existing building conditions and deficiencies; 5. Preparation of preliminary engineering assessments, audit reports, and other plans and studies associated with fire protection system improvements efforts; 6. Provision of design services to include preliminary design, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and specifications for new construction and renovation projects, including cost estimates, code comparisons, code compliance, and bidding documents; 7.
