Mission CISD seeks proposals for professional development on differentiated instruction which includes training teachers on designing lessons based on students’ learning styles, grouping students by shared interests, proficiency levels and ability for assignments. Session should also address increasing student achievement by using flexible grouping and formative assessment. Teachers will be provided the tools to attend to the various learning needs of all students in order to maximize student growth, academic success and provide the best learning environment. Differentiation session should address tailoring to student learning by addressing differentiation in content, process, product and learning environment.
