7.1 Scope of Services to be Performed The required services to be provided are dental services for the inpatient population at the SGSSLC dental clinic. a) Comply with HHSC State Supported Living Center/Facility Uniform Terms and Conditions- Vendor, Contractor will receive upon award. b) Provide HHSC with the following service(s) to patients of the Facility: 1. Provide all oral surgery, extractions (including 3rd molars), implants, evaluations, retained root procedures and provides biopsies and pathology evaluations. 2. Provide dental exams, consults, x-rays, general dentistry/restorative services including all preventative procedures, tooth extractions, surgical and non-surgical root canal therapy, direct and indirect restorations, fixed and removable prosthetics/devices, dental implant restorations, deep scaling root planning, crown lengthening, biopsies, and pathology evaluations. 3. Licensed Dentist will provide services including, but not limited to, providing, and reviewing annual exams, evaluations, consultations, and specific dental treatment as appropriate to the client(s). c) CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS, LICENSES AND PERMITS 1. Must maintain the following certifications, registrations, licenses or permits: i. Contractor must hold a DDS or DMS degree in dentistry. ii. All services performed will meet all requirements of the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners to provide dental services.
