The required services to be provided are Dental anesthesia services and evaluations covering the full spectrum of anesthesia as requested by the Abilene State Supported Living Center (ABSSLC) Dental Director, located at 2501 Maple Street, Abilene, Texas 79602. a) Contractor shall provide all oral surgery procedures within his/her scope of practice including oral sedation, TIVA, and general anesthesia for the dental clinic at ABSSLC for us to provide quality dental care for the resident’s comprehensive overall health. b) Contractor shall perform a risk assessment of each resident who may require services and provide the appropriate type of anesthesia for the procedure performed, based on the identified risks. Contractor shall monitor the condition of the resident undergoing surgery prior to, during, and after surgery. Contractor must have experience with disabilities. c) Contractor shall provide on facility services as needed before and after surgery. d) Contractor shall provide services to ABSSLC clients including, but not limited to, providing and reviewing annual exams, evaluations, consultations, and specific dental treatment as appropriate to the resident(s) on ABSSLC campus as needed. e) Contractor shall maintain, clean, and sterilize all dental equipment as needed including all preventative maintenance. f) Contractor and associated personnel will enter findings, recommendations, and Treatment summary onto a hard copy consultation generated by ABSSLC personnel with signature or provide legible and signed clinical notes in a timely manner. g) Contractor shall provide information as needed for facility staff to enter findings into the electronic medical record. A copy will be provided to the patient’s Treatment Team for inclusion into the Treatment Plan as needed. h) Contractor shall clinically oversee the work of ancillary personnel from his/her office.
