Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District (“CFISD” and/or the “District”) is soliciting proposals for the Data Cabling Project E-Rate, Request for Proposal #24-02-7050R-RFP as more fully set out in the Project Description and Information section of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”). Proposals must be uploaded to the CFISD Ionwave EBid System in accordance with the instructions provided within the RFP document document. The District's current cabling and technology infrastructure has standardized utilizing CommScope’s SYSTIMAX cabling and requires a solution that is seamlessly compatible with the existing infrastructure and warranty. The District will fairly evaluate any solution that provides an academically, technically, and functionally equivalent solution from an alternate manufacturer. Vendors must provide documentation to demonstrate the equivalency of the proposed equipment. If the alternative solution requires additional components not enumerated in the scope of work, the vendor must include those items as well. Additionally, such a solution must also include a minimum of three days of training for District staff. The District will be the final arbiter of the equivalency of the solution.
