The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, management supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform all cable installation tasks and functions. The contractor must perform to the standards identified in the performance work statement.
The performance work statement also includes furnishing, installing and maintenance of the complete horizontal copper station cabling and vertical copper riser cable to support voice and data end user equipment. The cable distribution system architecture shall be of the latest technology design for category 6A horizontal station wiring. The Cable Distribution System and Fiber Distribution system shall meet or exceed the manufacturer's published commercial specifications and standards specified in this document. The Contractor shall provide all transmission facilities, equipment, materials, maintenance, test equipment, and design layout needed to perform and provide broadband telecommunications systems access, transport services, and functions at the designated VA locations. These services shall include any special items, equipment, wiring or infrastructure to ensure the Contractor's solution is compatible with the Government's current telecommunications infrastructure.
The contractor shall respond to Critical repairs/work orders within 4 hours.
The contractor shall provide the VA North Texas Healthcare system Engineering group with a dedicated 24-hour phone number for emergency repairs/work orders.
The contractor shall respond to Normal repairs/work orders within 7 business days.
