Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this solicitation is to seek interested and qualified parties that can provide the maintenance and repair of Dallas Water Utilities (DWU) security apparatus throughout the department. • The City is requesting proposals to cover the scheduled maintenance (preventive maintenance) for all existing DWU security apparatus. This service contract shall also cover unscheduled maintenance (repairs and/or replacements) including labor hours and repair/replacement parts. This contract shall not include new installations. This contract may also be amended to include DWU locations and systems that may be enhanced in the future. • Establishing a 36-month service contract with a responsible proposer for the maintenance and repair of components of the existing security system (comprised of various manufacturers that include Dell, Schneider ACX, Stentofon, Pelco, Sony, Bosch, Hirschmann, Cisco) setup, installation, configuration, and integration throughout DWU; • This service contract should include quarterly or semi-annual visits (site dependent), and will include preventative maintenance tasking as described. • Equipment at the sites will be included within the scope of this service contract. 25% of covered equipment will be serviced per visit on quarterly sites, and 50% of covered equipment will be serviced per visit on semi-annual sites. Site frequency is detailed on the Proposal Pricing Sheet. • Service contract pricing includes software upgrades to be performed on all workstations as recommended per software manufacturer. • Services requested outside the scope will be billed separately at a discounted rate.
